The Carlo Ricco' & Fratelli Spa is pleased to announce the certification Lloyd's Register for a new range of Isophthalic resins, its Poliplast LR48. This product has remarcable characteristics of chemical and mechanical resistances , an easy wetting and workability.
The reduced exothermicity during the curing ( max 130°C),allows to produce thick layers wet on wet.
With this new material the Carlo Ricco' widens its range of resins for stratification and nautical use; range which includes innovative materials of great success:

range LR 96.15 ( pure DCPD) very appreciated not only for its workability but also for its resistance to osmosis and its excellent dynamic-mechanical characteristics

range LR 90 (bisphenolic/DCPD) used as barrier coat having an outmost low water absorption

range LR 40 (isophthalic at high reactivity)

range LR 96.01 pure DCPD for GELCOAT
The Poliplast LR 48 is available in the pre-accelerated and thixotropic version, with medium-long gel times and in the W version having a low styrene emission (LSE).
As other Poliplast resins which are omologated by Lloyd's Register, the LR 48 is available also in the version LR 48.02 INF ( for infusion, injection, RTM).
